Justified Assurance Network for Digital Trust
JAN DIGITRUST is an Armenian for-profit entity with mission-based statutes governed by principles that prioritise public benefit, reinvestment, and collaboration. Its governance model is designed to support long-term transparency, including a path towards becoming a publicly listed company.
Building strategic partnerships with EU research, academia, and international grant programs.
Foundational infrastructure for secure, federated, verifiable cloud environments.
Transforming research into deployable solutions and ventures that serve the public interest.
We are advancing the creation of an applied information security laboratory in Armenia. Conceived as a public–private R&D environment, the laboratory fosters collaboration among academia, government, and industry. Its mission is to strengthen resilience, interoperability, and transparency in next-generation computing infrastructure — addressing the challenges of secure data spaces, privacy-preserving computation, and verifiable software supply chains. Building on regional technical and educational strengths, the lab aims to contribute to global cybersecurity standards and to the European vision for trusted and sovereign digital infrastructure. Current discussions include an industry PhD programme in partnership with a leading research institute under the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, with prospective students and research directions already identified. The laboratory is being structured under an open, multi-stakeholder governance model inspired by leading research ecosystems such as ETH Zürich and MIT, ensuring transparency, academic independence, and strategic alignment with European trusted-infrastructure frameworks.
